A Columbia county Anthology
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Columbia County Authors Alliance is proud to announce the publication of The Columbia County America 250 Anthology, a collection of short stories, personal essays, and poetry written by residents of Columbia County.
The anthology brings together the voices of twenty-seven local contributors, including eighteen adult writers and nine young authors aged twelve and under, offering a remarkable cross-section of our community, demonstrating that every generation has a story worth telling.
Created as a community project to commemorate America’s semiquincentennial, the anthology captures a unique moment in Columbia County’s history. Through personal memories, historical reflections, imaginative storytelling, and poetry, contributors have created a lasting record of local voices that will be preserved for future generations.
The anthology is available as a FREE EBOOK AND PDF, making it accessible to readers throughout Columbia County and beyond. By offering the anthology at no cost, the Columbia County Authors Alliance hopes to encourage the community to celebrate this historic anniversary through reading the works of their friends, neighbors, and other community members.
